Customer satisfaction
Everything starts with lived experience — the customer receiving, the merchant served, the Tipper delivering. Their satisfaction is my only compass.
Team · The founder
Founder of Tipper
Fifteen years moving parcels at scale, from Europe to Asia. One ambition today: to reinvent local delivery — right across France.
The mission
Tipper is the helping hand between neighbours.
I'm fascinated by the sharing economy — the one where people help each other out. Tipper turns trips that are already happening into deliveries for the shops next door: lighter on carbon, more human, and built for the whole country — from major retail chains to neighbourhood florists, wine merchants and chocolatiers. You keep control of your brand and your customers; we carry the last mile.
What guides me
The values behind every decision, from product to the field.
Everything starts with lived experience — the customer receiving, the merchant served, the Tipper delivering. Their satisfaction is my only compass.
Technology and trust combined to reduce operational friction — and pass as much value as possible to our community of Tippers.
The sense of belonging to a local community that helps one another — and that gives our daily lives meaning again.
Between the data and the customer anecdote, the anecdote always wins. Nothing beats understanding the work by living it: at Tipper, the teams are themselves volunteer Tippers.
What I bring
Fifteen years of operations, from European retail to Asian platforms.
In Singapore, I successfully ran cold-chain delivery through cotransportage in a tropical climate — where every minute, and every degree, counts.
A decade with distribution in France and Europe (P&G).
Designing and running reliable payment flows — the key to paying Tippers.
Large-scale operations across their regulatory, legal and human constraints.
In Singapore, leading compliance with the Platform Workers Act (the first regulation of platform work), in coordination with the government.
From acquisition to the delivery experience.
The virtuous circle
Treating the person who delivers well sets off a circle that benefits everyone — and gathers speed.
The Tipper is well treated and well paid
They deliver at their very best
The customer is delighted and comes back
The merchant is satisfied → more volume
…and the Tipper gains even more. The virtuous circle gathers speed.
"Take care of the one who delivers, and everything else follows: the customer smiles, the merchant returns, and the neighbourhood keeps turning."Cédric Galichon
